About the Event

Webinar Wednesday - Supporting Children's Individual Medical Needs

Facilitated by Sally Roebuck

Under Regulation 90, approved providers must ensure that their services have a policy for dealing with medical conditions in children and young people (including diabetes, asthma, allergy or anaphylaxis), even if they have no children or young people with this medical condition at the service. The begin of a new year is the perfect time to review this important obligation and how to best support new and existing children in your community.

In this session we will consider what an approved provider should do when a child or young person enrolled at their service has a specific health care need or medical condition including:

- Reviewing policies and procedures

- Assessing and minimising risk
