Ironside OSHC - OSHC Assistant Educators
Ironside OSHC are currently seeking to employ several motivated and active individuals who can plan, implement, reflect and document activities led by the strengths, needs and interests of the children within our OSHC. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate school aged children in this rewarding 'leisure-based play' environment.
The primary role of the Educator in our service is to assist children develop a growth mindset in order to reach their potential by offering play-based activities that build skills and strategies, as well as motivate and challenge children to learn.
Hold appropriate qualifications in Children's Services or hold transferable skills to demonstrate your ability to;
Understand and meet the requirements of the National Quality Standards
Understand and meet the outcomes of the My Time, Our Place framework
Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality children's services activities
Consistently use high level and effective oral and written communication skills
Maintain and establish positive relationships within the team and with the wider key stakeholders of the service
It would be desirable for the applicant to hold;
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
Valid Working with Children's Check Clearance (for paid work)
These are casual positions.
Salary is commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Children's Services Award 2010 level 1.1 - 3.4 depending on experience and qualifications.

Ironside OSHC - OSHC Cook
Ironside OSHC is a not-for-profit Outside School Hours Care that values inclusion, positivity and equality. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team 5 days a week to work split shifts in our kitchen as a cook.
Hours 6.45am-10.45am / 1.30pm - 5.30pm
Qualifications & experience
Experience as a cook preferred but not necessary.
Blue Card/Working With Children Check necessary.
HTLDAID004 certificate necessary or happy to obtain.
Positive attitude and work ethic crucial.
Food Safety and Handling preferred but not necessary
Tasks & responsibilities
Preparing nutritious and healthy meals for children aged 4 - 12.
Following a menu prepared by our in-house dietitian.
Order food online from Supermarket from a set menu.
Obtain children's feedback about menu options.
Opportunity to move to permanent employment after 3 months.

East Ipswich OSHC are seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join their team.

To be successful in this role you must hold or be willing to obtain:

• Experience in leading OSHC care as a Responsible Person is advantageous.
