About us
Kelvin Grove State College OSHC is seeking experienced educators. We are a large sized service which is licensed for 250 children. We provide before school care, after school care, vacation care and care on pupil free days. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating, and secure environment in which children can learn and grow according to their needs, interests, and abilities. The service encourages input and involvement when collaborating with children, families, staff, and the local community to help foster a sense of belonging for all.

Educator Responsibilities
-
Educating and caring for primary school aged children
-
Ensuring children are provided learning opportunities to reach their full potential following the program provided by our Educational Leader
-
Developing strong relationships with the school community
-
Ensure a clean and healthy environment for all children (this requires you to do everyday cleaning as part of your duties)
-
Perform incidental administrative duties (filling out accident/incident reports when necessary)

Educator Requirements
-
Completed Certificate III or studying towards Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification
-
Experience working with primary school aged children
-
Paid Blue Card or willing to obtain
-
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification or willing to obtain
-
Availability in line with our operational hours
-
Before School Care: Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30am - 9.00am
-
After School Care: Monday to Friday between the hours of 2:30pm - 6:00pm
-
Vacation Care: Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm
