About the Event
Protective Behaviours - Supporting Children's Personal Safety
As trusted adults in children’s and young people’s lives, the most important role we have is to keep them safe. We want to be there to catch them before they fall, shield them from harm and to give them a life that is free from hurt and pain. The reality is that we cannot be with them 24/7. One of the most important things we can do is to educate them to identify when something doesn’t feel right, and to talk to a trusted adult without fear of consequences.
Join us for this one hour webinar as we explore Protective Behaviours and the various ways we can support children’s personal safety including the three rules to personal safety. We will focus in on Body Safety Rules and various organisations and resources that can support you to develop a protective behaviours program that is a right fit for your children and families.
