About the Event

Webinar Wednesday - Make It Matter: Building Cultures of Significance in OSHC

Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell & Sally Roebuck

Feeling like you matter isn't a nice-to-have — it's a developmental need. And it doesn't stop at childhood.

Drawing on the mattering research and its applications across the lifespan, this session takes a whole-community lens to consider it's significance in outside school hours care. We explore what it means for children to feel seen, valued, and missed — and then turn that same lens on the educators who show up every day, and the families and stakeholders who partner with your service.

When children matter and their wellbeing is paramount, they thrive. When educators matter, they stay, grow, and give their best. When families and stakeholders matter, partnerships deepen and communities strengthen.

This session equips OSHC professionals with the language, lens, and practical tools to cultivate a culture where significance isn't…
