Intentional Practice for Educators in School Age Care

Intentionality involves educators being deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful in their decisions and actions. The National Quality Framework has highlighted the importance of this practice in OSHC and the learning that occurs in our wonderful social contexts – with its broader vision of the program including all interactions, experiences, activities, routines and events. This session discusses a variety of ways we can insert intentionality into this rich curriculum and all aspects of the quality improvement process in our everyday work as educators.
