Focus on Quality Area 7

This session will recognises the importance of effective leadership and strong governance of the service in achieving quality outcomes for children and families. The standards in QA 7 are underpinned by the concepts of:

  • Service philosophy and purpose
  • Management systems
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Continuous improvement
  • Educational leadership
  • Development of professionals 

Each concept will be explored in the context of meeting and exceeding the NQS.
