About the Event

CREATE: OSHC Environments that Develop Creativity

Pulling from the academic fields of education, psychology and neuroscience, the Centre for Childhood Creativity at the Bay Area Discovery Museum has developed the CREATE framework. This unique pedagogical framework describes how educators can build children’s creative problem-solving skills through intentional experiences, and translates beautifully into OSHC context.

Join us for this one hour webinar as we explore the acronym of CREATE (child-directed, risk-friendly, exploratory, active, time for imagination and exchange of ideas) as it illustrates the key elements to focus on in your service that can help to support the development and progression of creativity in the children of your OSHC community.
