Professional boundaries are the lines that professionals draw between professional and personal relationships. They help to differentiate between actions that are professionally appropriate and those that are inappropriate, unprofessional or even harmful. But what happen when our professional and personal lives intersect? Are there parts of ourselves that loose out? Or are there unforeseen costs that our stakeholders bare?

Whilst there are rarely simple answers to these critical questions, there are frameworks and models that can support us with these vital ponderings. This session will draw on these and recent guidance from the mandated National Child Safety Training, to ensure that those of us that wear multiple hats can navigate these dual relationships with paramountcy.
