About the Event

Serving Up Wellbeing with a Healthy Mind Platter - Webinar Wednesday

Facilitated by Emily McKenna

While many of us have spent time over the years reflecting on the food pyramid (recently replaced by the healthy eating plate), how much time have we dedicated to thinking about a “daily diet” for a healthy mind?

The Healthy Mind Platter has seven daily essential mental activities necessary for optimum mental health. These seven daily activities make up the full set of “mental nutrients” that your brain and relationships need to function at their best.

These essential mental activities strengthen your brain’s internal connections and your connections with other people and the world around you. During this session we will discuss each of the 7 essential activities and consider their application in supporting educators’ and children’s wellbeing in the OSHC Environment.

This session is suited to OSHC professionals at ALL career stages.
