About the Event

Research in OSHC - WERA Global Taskforce for Extended Education

Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is critically important in providing high quality care to children and young people in OSHC.  While historically there has been limited research on OSHC, this week in September, academics from all over the globe will converge on Southbank for the WERA Global Task Force in Extended Education 2024 conference hosted by NOSHSA and Griffith University. This promises to be a fantastic opportunity to hear about the latest research and thinking in the OSHC space –including the cutting edge thinking of esteemed Assoc Prof Jennifer Cartmel and Dr Bruce Hurst and action research being conducted by OSHC practitioners around Australia.

If you missed out on attending the conference, this webinar will give you an overview of what the conference will be showcasing, and how you can tap into this growing evidence base to help inform your practice; ensuring better outcomes for your OSHC community.

This session is suited to OSHC professionals at all career stages.
