Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell

The Queensland Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (ECRA) is responsible for regulating the early childhood education and care sector including outside school hours care. They have a vital role in making sure children are safe and receive high-quality education and care. This series spotlights the new priority areas they announced in late 2023.

This session will focus on Positive relationships with children and young people, more specifically Regulations 155 and 156 of the .Education and Care Services National Regulations

Every child has the right to feel safe, respected, valued and listened to. Meeting these rights is critical for the healthy development of confidence and self-worth in children and for better learning outcomes.
