Proactive, Interactive and Effective Supervision in OSHC - Online Workshop

Proactive, interactive and effective supervision involves more than just ensuring child to educator ratios meet minimum requirements. Effective supervision is integral to creating environments that are safe and responsive to the needs of all children. It also helps to protect children from hazards or harm that may arise from their play and daily routines.
This session addresses the skills and knowledge required to proactively and effectively supervise children in Outside School Hours Care, including:
- Effective supervision strategies: collaboration, positioning, movement, scanning and more.
- Dynamic risk assessments
- Agency and supervision
- Developing supervision plans
- Supervision and behaviour
This session is suited to OSHC professionals at all career stages.
