P&C Approved Provider Member Meeting

QCAN will be hosting ‘free’ member meetings for P&C executives who are the Approved Providers (AP) of an OSHC service and members of QCAN. These meetings will provide an opportunity to keep up to date with important changes and influences in the OSHC sector on both a State and Federal level.

The first P&C AP meeting will be held on Wednesday 31st May from 6.30pm-7.30pm over zoom. 

The agenda for this meeting will include:

· The role of QCAN in advocacy for the Queensland OSHC sector

· QCAN’s influence and success

· Current initiatives and priorities

○ ACCC inquiry into ECEC

○ Productivity commission inquiry into ECEC

○ Inclusion Support Program review

○ Multi-employer bargaining – a new mechanism for funding an ECEC pay increase for educators

· Child Care Subsidy (CCS) changes and compliance

· National and State government Workforce Strategies for OSHC

· Next steps

○ QCAN/NOSHSA strategies and actions
