The recently introduced Child Safe Standards, are comprised of ten standards, and one Universal Principle: Cultural Safety. Our topic of conversation this term is Cultural Safety. Using Yarning Cards developed by Blak Ignited, we will collaboratively reflect upon our own Cultural Safety knowledge gaps and implicit biases.

Together our Community of Practice will:

• Reflect upon our understanding of cultural safety in the OSHC context, and our confidence in applying the Universal Principle

• Share observations and experiences

• Reflect upon impacts and concerns

• Discuss the successes and positive practices within the group
