About the Event

Regulatory Authority Priority Series – Enhancing OSHC Teams by Focusing on Staff Moral and Wellbeing

The Queensland Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (ECRA) is responsible for regulating the early childhood education and care sector including outside school hours care. They have a vital role in making sure children are safe and receive high-quality education and care. This series spotlights the new priority areas they announced in late 2023.

This session will focus on Support for educational leadership. Educational leaders need support from the service’s leadership team to effect positive change, including playing an integral role in mentoring, guiding and supporting educators.

Educator wellbeing matters. It affects their health, outlook, personal life and how they build relationships with children, young people, families and colleagues. Furthermore, it sets the emotional tone for the whole organization; educator wellbeing has a direct effect on children and young people’s wellbeing.

This session focuses on staff morale…
