About the Event

On Country: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives In OSHC - Webinar Wednesday

Facilitated by Lainey Walker

The recent update to the Approved Learning Framework for School Age Care in Australia, My Time, Our Place V2.0, saw Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives strengthened throughout. This update provides a valuable opportunity to reflect upon the OSHC sector’s role within reconciliation, and the exciting potential to strengthen school age children’s understanding and value of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives.

This session will explore My Time, Our Place V2.0, with particular focus upon:

  • place-based pedagogies and learning on Country

  • respectful and reciprocal relationships with local stakeholders
