MTOP V2.0 Cultural Responsiveness in OSHC - Webinar Wednesday

The recent update to the Approved Learning Framework for School Age Care in Australia, My Time, Our Place V2.0, saw the existing practice element of Cultural Competence reworded as Cultural Responsiveness. This update sets a higher benchmark for practice within School Age Care, and expands upon the essential foundation of cultural competence.

This session will explore:

• The rationale behind the practice update
• Competence to Responsiveness: what’s changed?
• Educators as co-learners of cultural knowledges with children and communities
