About the Event

The aim of the session is to support the P&C Association to build their understanding of the various State and Federal legislative and regulatory obligations required to operate a school age care service. Compliance is an important responsibility with significant implications for all OSHC Providers.Approved Provider Responsibilities For P&Cs Operating an OSHC

Effective management and governance practices are an essential aspect of a service’s quality and compliance. For many P&Cs the specifics of being an approved education and care service can be a significant responsibility that is often misunderstood or overlooked. It is paramount for the Approved Provider to establish a sound understanding of the rules, requirements, and best practices for managing an OSHC service. This knowledge is the basis for operating a compliant, safe and quality education and care for children, and becomes the platform to build exceptional quality for the school community.
