The Queensland Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (ECRA) is responsible for regulating the early childhood education and care sector including outside school hours care. They have a vital role in making sure children are safe and receive high-quality education and care. Compliance and enforcement data highlights the top 5 most common breaches of the National Regulations in Queensland in Q1, 2024–25 FY. Emergency Evacuation Procedures is second on this list.


This session will focus on unpacking your emergency and evacuation procedures compliance including;


  • Ensuring compliance with emergency procedure rehearsals

  • Considering the diverse needs of stakeholders (trauma, disability, English as a second language)
