Cultural Inclusion, Reconciliation & Social Justice

Every Child Belongs, Every Voice Matters

This collection of 10 sessions explores equity and inclusion; where diversity is celebrated and every child sees themselves reflected and valued. Inclusion isn't an add-on, it's the foundation. Do you need some help examining our Australian colonial context, challenging bias and discrimination or facilitating tricky conversations?

These sessions will help you create environments where multiple perspectives are seen as strengths.

1. Cultural Identity & Inclusion in OSHC

How do we define culture? What does it encompass? Who has it? What impact does this have on our identity and our sense on inclusion and belonging?

Together we will explore these important questions and more, as well come to understand our own cultural identity, so we can be well positioned to support children and young people in their own.

The Queensland Children’s Activities Network acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, and recognise their continuing connection to culture, land, waterways and communities. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
