About the Event

Working Effectively with Others

Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell

Developing effective workplace relationships is critical to the success of any quality Outside School Hours Care service. Effective workplace relationships are built on mutual trust and respect and create healthy environments where children can receive quality education and care. Effective workplace relationships are developed when educators understand and apply the principles of teamwork and understand their responsibilities to work as a positive contributor to the work environment.

Join us for this webinar Wednesday to discuss the fundamental principles of working effectively with others including:

• Clear and positive communications

• Defined roles and responsibilities

• Individual and collective accountability

• Common goals and purpose – shared vision for success

• Respect and value for a diversity of skills and personalities

• Appropriate social interactions

• Effective group processes for decision making
