About the Event

Nature Play

How many of us remember the joy we felt when we played ‘make-believe’ in our backyard or the local park, or squelched about in mud when it rained? With the time pressures of today and concerns for children’s safety amid this worldwide pandemic, spending time outside has become something we need to plan and supervise carefully—but the benefits are well worth the effort.

Join us for this one hour webinar as we explore free play in nature as well as activity based options that allow you to support and scaffold the children of your OSHC community. This unique pedagogical framework describes how educators can share nature with children through intentional experiences, and translates beautifully into OSHC context.
