This webinar will unpack a variety of techniques for meaningful critical reflection in Outside School Hours Care settings.


Critical reflection goes beyond simply asking "What happened today?" It challenges us to examine our assumptions, question our practices, and consider how our decisions impact children's learning, wellbeing, and sense of belonging. Through crtical reflection we consider power dynamics, inclusion, and the hidden curriculum in your service. Whose voices dominate our planning? Which children or stakeholders thrive in our environment, and who might be struggling silently? How do our personal biases shape our interactions?


In this session, we'll move past surface-level thinking to explore reflexive practices that genuinely transform our work. Practical tools you can use immediately, for engaging in deeper thinking about the program, play and children’s rights through to critical incident debriefing, development of educators and children's…
