About the Event

Considering Nature Play in OSHC

How many of us remember the joy we felt when we played ‘make-believe’ in our backyard or the local park, or squelched about in mud when it rained? With the time pressures of today and concerns for children’s safety, spending time outside has become something we need to plan and supervise carefully—but the benefits are well worth the effort.

Join us for this half-hour webinar as we explore free play in nature, as well as activity-based options that allow you to support and scaffold the children of your OSHC community. This unique pedagogical framework describes how educators can share nature with children through intentional experiences, and translates beautifully into OSHC context.

This session is suited to OSHC professionals at all career stages.
