Report writing - Incident, Injury, Trauma and Illness - Webinar Wednesday

Report writing is an essential skill in many disciplines, including outside school hours care. As professionals, nominated supervisors and responsible persons in charge need to be able to convey important information in short, sharp and concise documents. The National Law and Regulations mandate specific circumstances the approved provider must notify the regulatory authority of. This includes:
- serious incidents
- complaints
- circumstances at the service which pose a risk to the health, safety or wellbeing of children
- any incident or allegation that physical or sexual abuse of a child or children has occurred or is occurring while the child or children are being educated and cared for by the service.
This session will focus on reporting obligations pertaining to a serious incident (unpacking several examples of these) and how to capture the necessary elements in the report to the regulatory
