About the Event

Theoretical influcences for OSHC

Facilitated by Kylie Brannelly

Educators practice is informed and shaped by experiences and theoreticial influences. This session provides an overview of key developmental, socio-cultural, socio-behaviourist, critical and post-structuralist theories that underpin My Time, Our Place - Framework for School Age Care in Australia. When understood, theoretical influences can be used to challenge educators to think deeply about their practice and how these ideas can be drawn upon to reflect on their work with children.
