About the Event

Leading Reconciliation - Be a Voice for Generations - Webinar Wednesday

Facilitated by Lainey Walker & Rarni Rothwell

The 2023 theme for National Reconciliation Week “Be a Voice for Generations” - “encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our everyday lives – where we live, work and socialise. For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, act today for a more just, equitable and reconciled country for all.”

In this session we will explore the Narragunnawali RAP Framework in the OSHC context. The framework outlines a sustainable, holistic approach to driving reconciliation in education by building relationships, respect and opportunities in three main contexts:

  • in the classroom (i.e. the educational program and practice)
  • around the school (or service i.e. the ethos and activities within the wider service environment)
  • with the community (in the partnerships that extend beyond the school or service gates).

This session is suited to OSHC professionals at all career stages, but especially those looking to move from proficient to lead career stage.
