Introduction to Anti-Bias Practice in OSHC   - Webinar Wednesday

Facilitated byLainey Walker

The Approved Learning Framework for School Age Care recognises diverse ways of being, belonging and becoming, and champions the principle of equity, inclusion and high expectations for children and young people in all their diversity. Whilst many of us consciously strive for equity, implicit and structural biases often persist unchecked.

In this session we will introduce:

  • How implicit/unconscious and explicit biases impact practice in OSHC

  • Using critical reflection to recognise bias at individual and service levels
