Documentation and Planning - Webinar Wednesday

Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell

How do we plan to ensure documentation is meaningful?

This session reflects on the purpose of documentation, be it observations, evaluations, critical reflections or ‘data collection’ and the variety of ways ‘thinking’ and ‘new learnings’ can be captured. How can you ensure your thinking is shared whilst sharing the learnings of others? How do you ensure other stakeholders hear your voice, and the unique wisdom only you can impart? Importantly, how do we ensure the focus stays on “your work” of supporting children to learn through play rather than “more work” of unnecessary documentation?

This workshop is suitable for Educators at varying career stages, whether that be Educator’s at the Foundation or Developing level, hearing this information for the first time, or those Educational Leaders or Service Leaders at the Proficient and Lead career stage who want to facilitate their teams understanding of the approved learning framework at their service.
