The Coordinator Essentials Series focuses  upon the experiences, responsibilities and concerns of OSHC Coordinators. OSHC  Coordinators are integral to the operation of quality outside school hours  care services, and ensure compliance under the National Law and National  Regulations.  

Part One- Navigating Staffing: Struggles and Strategies will explore:

  • Staffing through the lens of  the National Laws and Regulations, and the National Quality Framework. What are your responsibilities?
  • Staffing during a pandemic- the effects of COVID-19 on our workforce
  • Coordinator Conversations: Participants share current struggles and strategies

This session is suitable for proficient educators looking to progress into the lead career stage as a service coordinator or current coordinators wanting to ensure compliance within their organisation – particularly if they are new to their OSHC community or approved provider structure.
