Regulatory Authority Priority Series: Positive Relationships with ChildrenÂ
Bullying in OSHC - No Way
Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell
The Queensland Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (ECRA) is responsible for regulating the early childhood education and care sector including outside school hours care. They have a vital role in making sure children are safe and receive high-quality education and care. This series spotlights the priority areas they will be focusing on through to 2025.
This session will focus on Positive relationships with children and young people, more specifically creating a secure and nurturing base for children to experience acceptance.
Creating safe environments is one of the incredibly important roles of an OSHC Educator. Helping to promote healthy relationships and recognising and responding to bullying is one such way that Educators can support children’s psychological safety.

• Context of the NQF and Belonging
• Contemporary Understandings including language and effectsÂ
