About the Event

Bullying in OSHC

Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell

Creating safe environments is one of the incredibly important roles of an OSHC Educator. Helping to promote healthy relationships and recognising and responding to bullying is one such way that Educators can support children’s psychological safety.

This workshop explores:-

- Identifying various types of bullying

- Bullying policies suitable for OSHC

- Involving children, families and the community

- Appropriate strategies to combat bullying and build children’s confidence and self-esteem

- Diversity and anti-bias approaches

- Resources suitable to support the implementation of anti-bullying practices

- Practical, fun, child-focused experiences!

All OSHC staff who are interested in promoting a bully free environment would benefit through attending this workshop.
