Professional Development & Training
Our premier event is the Annual State Conference which attracts more than 250 delegates from across the state who take the opportunity to enhance their own professional practice through this shared learning and development experience.
Held across the Queensland regions throughout the year, these events are facilitated to be broad-reaching and incorporate a wide variety of professional learning modalities, including workshops, yarning circles and communities of practice.
QCAN's online learning portal provides convenient access to a wide range of topics to support OSHC training. The online learning format is particularly helpful in the induction of new educators to understand their role and responsibilities.
In-Service training allows for specific OSHC topics to be explored and delivered directly to your service in an individualised setting. In-Service training is a popular method to build shared understanding and teamwork.
The Educator Symposium is an informative and inspiring day of professional development for those working in OSHC. Participants will hear from a range of experienced practitioners. Workshops and presentations offer both relevant and practical information to support up-skilling and the shaping of educator's practice.
