Introduction to Child Protection in OSHC

this workshop provides an overview of Child Protection for those working with School Aged Children in OSHC services in Queensland.

The session covers aspects of Child Protection in Queensland including a briefing of the various pieces of legislation that work towards protecting children from harm and agencies for support and referral.

Throughout the session participants will also explore stratergies for handling suspicions of harm or disclosure from children. The importance of appropriate policy and procedure will be explored.

The workshop will suit OSHC Assistants, Coordinators and members of Management.
